Conjuncivitis (Pinkeye)



About
Commonly called pink eye. Conjunctiva is thin and clear membrane over the white part of the eye and can also line the eyelid. Should this area become inflamed, it is called conjunctivitis. Conjunctivitis can be caused by bacteria, a virus, an allergic reaction causing itching and tearing, GPC. GPC is a type of conjunctivitis usually affecting both eyes and its full name is Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis.
