Depends on what part of the ear the loss is located in as to what type of hearing loss it is. There is conductive hearing loss, sensorineural hearing loss, and mixed hearing loss.

Each packet contains a multi-vitamin, CoQ10 (for heart health), Omega 3, Vitamin D-3, a probiotic, and a powerful set of antioxidants to help your body fight off disease.

  • Chewing gum during a plane's descent can help your ears adjust to the change in pressure. You can also try popping your ears by pinching your nose and carefully blowing air through your mouth while it is closed. Consider using a decongestant. If you choose this option, be sure to drink enough fluids (water and juice) since decongestants dry you out. Avoid alcohol and caffeine which also dry you out.

  • Research to develop further devices to aid those with hearing loss is ongoing.
  • Surgery is available to fix hearing loss that has been caused by infection.
  • Tell people that they do not have to shout, but instead speak slowly and distinctly when speaking to you. Consider a hearing aid if you have permanent hearing loss. A number of different hearing aids are available: Behind-the-ear (BTE) devices, In-the-ear devices (ITE), In-the-canal devices (INC), and Digital devices.
  • Those who get frequent ear infections should swim with earplugs in their ears.
  • Use hydrogen peroxide or a mixture of half water/half vinegar to clean out earwax buildup. Put the drops into your ear and let sit for a minute. Allow the ear to drain. Try this method several times a day. Cotton swabs often complicate the problem by packing wax into the ear. Garlic oil will help soften wax that has hardened over time. Ear should be flushed with warm water. Ear candling is an alternate option. You will need specific candles from a health food store and a friend to help you. Be cautious when using this method.
  • Use sugars and alcohol in moderation. Allow caffeine, sodium, and chocolate on rare occasions.
  • Use warm, not hot, garlic liquid extract in infected ear's). Use 2 to 4 drops in each ear. Each ear should have a different dropper to avoid spreading infection. Works great for children.
  • Watch infants closely for signs of hearing loss or other ear problems. Doctors should pay attention when you share your concern; early detection is essential in possible prevention of permanent damage.
  • Wear earplugs or headphones to protect your ears when you are using power tools, mowing the lawn, or shooting a gun.
