Reye's Syndrome

Reye's Syndrome is most common in children between 4 and 12 who have taken aspirin during viral infections. The brain and liver, along with other internal organs, are affected by it. Symptoms include fever, vomiting, confusion, drowsiness, speech impairment, etc.

  • Watch for warning signs after the flu, ear infection, a cold, and the chickenpox. Heavy and prolonged vomiting, disoriented, Fatigue, and lapses in memory. Go the emergency room.
