Sinusitis


About
Sinusitis is when nasal passages become inflamed. An abundance of mucus may be the beginning of a sinus infection. Fever, cough, earache, headache, cranial pressure, facial pain, toothache, difficulty breathing, and loss of sense of smell may accompany sinusitis.

  • Take sugar out of your diet and lower the amount of salt in your diet.
  • To ease pain and swelling use a eucalyptus or menthol pack.
  • To ease stuffiness combine 1 cup of warm water and a 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt, and a pinch of bicarbonate of soda put into a dropper and place in the nostril 3-4 times per day.
  • Warm compresses or ice packs aid in easing pain.
