Tuberculosis

About
Caused by a bacteria, Tuberculosis (TB) attacks the lungs, kidneys, intestines, spleen, liver, and bones. It may start out in the lungs, but it could develop in other organs if the immune system is not strong.

Notes
  • Make sure you are taking supplements for overall good health. If you are not taking these basic supplements, we recommend Enfuz from Vitabase. When you take a small packet of pills each day, you get all the basic nutrition you need. Each packet contains a multi-vitamin, CoQ10 (for heart health), Omega 3, Vitamin D-3, a probiotic, and a powerful set of antioxidants to help your body fight off disease.
  • A tuberculosis vaccine is available (the Bacillus Calmette-Guerin vaccine, BCG). Some doctors believe it is helpful, while others are against it. TB skin tests help determine if TB bacteria is present in the body, even if the full-fledged disease is not noticeable yet.
  • Avoid using cortisone if you think you may have tuberculosis. Cortisone is harmful to the immune system.
  • Billions of tubercle bacillus organisms can appear from just one organism within a month.
  • Consider getting a person air purifier to hang around your neck.
  • Eating healthy and staying clean will help fight tuberculosis. Vaccines and drugs may be beneficial, too.
  • It is believed that most people have come into contact with the tubercle bacillus virus, but they do not become infected with it because their immune systems are strong enough to stop it. Sometimes the infection can show up after many years of carrying it if the immune system becomes weak.
  • Tuberculosis is more likely to show up in people with AIDS than in others.

Advice
  • Avoid alcohol, smoking, and drugs, all of which are harmful to your immune system.
  • Four tablespoons of pureed asparagus taken twice a day with meals can boost the immune system and fight carcinogens.
  • Half of your diet should be raw fruits and vegetables. Garlic, whole grains, alfalfa sprouts, fish, fowl, raw cheeses, pomegranates, and raw seeds and nuts are also beneficial.
  • It is important to take all prescribed medications exactly as your doctor prescribes. In case of unpleasant side effects, contact your physician, but do not stop taking your medicine until your doctor allows you to do so.
  • Raw potato juice, fresh pineapple juice, green drinks, and carrot juice are recommended for daily consumption. The protease inhibitors in potato juice can stop cell mutation and carcinogens.
  • See your doctor as soon as possible if you think you may have tuberculosis. You will need immediate treatment.
  • Stay away from stress as much as possible. Get plenty of rest, sunshine, and fresh air regularly. If possible, try to stay in a dry climate.
  • Whenever taking antibiotics, it is important to obtain acidophilus either through supplements or through soured dairy products like yogurt. Take separately from antibiotics. Kefir, fresh sugar-free yogurt, and buttermilk are an important part of your diet.
