Weakened Immune System

About
Your immune system is your best defense against disease. It determines what belongs in your body and what does not. When the immune system is weak, a person is more prone to illness. Keeping your immune system healthy is the best way to keep your entire body healthy.

Notes
  • Make sure you are taking supplements for overall good health. If you are not taking these basic supplements, we recommend Enfuz from Vitabase. When you take a small packet of pills each day, you get all the basic nutrition you need. Each packet contains a multi-vitamin, CoQ10 (for heart health), Omega 3, Vitamin D-3, a probiotic, and a powerful set of antioxidants to help your body fight off disease.
  • A healthy immune system is tied to the mental condition of a person.
  • Consider having being tested for heavy metal intoxication, which can hurt the immune system. Be especially wary if you have mercury amalgam fillings.
  • Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) and human growth hormone (HGH) may help boost immunity. HGH treatments should only be done under a physician's direction.
  • Immunity is affected by food allergies and reactions.
  • In a person with a healthy immune system, white blood cell count should be between 4,000 and 12,000 cells per micro liter of blood.
  • Problems with the immune system may come from an under active thyroid.
  • Using marijuana has a negative effect on white blood cells, which hurts the immune system.

Advice
  • Avoid alcohol, smoking, and caffeine.
  • Certain nutrients are especially helpful in boosting the immune system. Vitamin A helps fight infection. Take as directed on bottle or by doctor. Vitamin C helps in the production of adrenal hormones. To improve absorption, take with bioflavonoid. Vitamin E, when taken with vitamins A and C, works like an antioxidant. It also helps get rid of free radicals. Zinc enhances wound healing. Do not take more than 100 mg daily.
  • Do not overeat.
  • Exercise regularly.
  • Fasting once a month is recommended.
  • Find out what is causing strain on your immune system and change whatever is necessary. Especially observe your eating habits and the stress level in your life.
  • Get enough sleep. Try to stay away from stress.
  • Green drinks are beneficial.
  • Obtain germanium through pearl barley, chlorella, and garlic. Giant red kelp and brown kelp are good sources of iodine, carotene, calcium, iron, vitamin C, riboflavin, and protein.
  • Only take prescribed medication.
  • Raw fruits and vegetables should be a major part of your diet. Also include high-fiber foods such as nuts, grains, and seeds.
  • Spirulina is beneficial for healing and cleansing the body. Take it during your monthly fast in order to obtain needed nutrients.
  • Stay away from processed foods, sugar, animal products, and soda.
